Sarah Gelsanliter teaches classes and workshops at local pottery studios and at One Acre Ceramics.
Pottery workshops: A 2-hour introductory workshop for 4-6 adults or children (age 6 and up) taught at the One Acre Ceramics studio. Students can make a tile, handbuild a unique piece, and try throwing on the wheel. Pieces are finished, glazed and fired at our studio after the workshop. Cost: $200/workshop. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information and for scheduling.
Tile-making workshops: For groups of 20 or more children and/or adults, we will come to your school, church or other facility to teach a 45-minute tile-making workshop. We bring all materials necessary for each person to make their own 4 x 4 inch tile which will then be finished, glazed, and fired at our studio. Cost: $10/person. Contact us at email@example.com for more information and for scheduling.
Brownie workshops: A special two-part workshop taught at One Acre Ceramics to help Brownie scouts earn their Pottery Badge. During the workshop, Brownies will make a pinch pot and tile, tour the studio, see a wheel-throwing demo and glaze their pieces. Finished work will be available for pick up approximately 3 weeks after the final session. Cost: $12/person, min 12 people. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information and for scheduling.
